| A Little About Me
| I grew up surrounded by art and craft, as a child I would spend hours
rummaging through my Grandmother's bead and button box stringing simple
necklaces and bracelets, later making earrings to sell at school and
eventually in 2000 I stumbled across an amazingly inspirational little
bead shop so I dusted off my pliers and here I am having the time of my
life! The support I have received in this venture is truly
amazing, my husband and two wonderful sons who put up with the ironing
pile, my sister and my parents, without whom this last year could have
been very different. It is from my beautiful and talented mother that
I have inherited my creative spirit. I love colour, I love
jewellery and I love to make jewellery, each piece unique, beautiful
and fun to wear. Mostly I like to use sterling or fine silver but you
will also find some designs using copper wire, a little of something
for every pocket or purse. Other materials used in my designs are
glass beads from the Czech Republic and India, lampwork beads by some
of the most outstanding glass artists in this country, semi precious
stones and pearls. I'm Manda and I'm so pleased and proud to be able to offer this exclusive range of unique, handcrafted, artisan jewellery.
